The Cleaning process

The HOST® system was designed to eliminate many of the compromises associated with wet cleaning methods. It is a low moisture system based on a familiar cleaning item - the sponge. Imagine your kitchen sponge, it holds water and cleaning agents enabling it to absorb and wipe away dirt from surfaces. The carpet cleaning sponges work in the same way, they hold the necessary cleaning ingredients and absorb and wipe away the soil from the carpet fibres. We use specially designed, patented equipment to work the sponges deep into the carpet pile, thoroughly cleaning each fibre.

We start the cleaning process by vacuuming your carpet to remove all dry soil, the remaining dirt is oily or greasy. To deal with this we use our unique natural sponge product containing a minimal amount of water and detergent which is sprinkled onto the surface of the carpet and worked right down into the pile, this allows the cleaner to break up, dissolve, trap and then remove spots, spills and greasy oily dirt.

The final process is to thoroughly remove the cleansing sponges using our counter-rotating extraction method. This not only completely removes the sponge, it also re-invigorates the carpets pile, leaving it fresh and looking like new. Matted carpets are revived and once again become soft to the touch. No trace of the cleansing sponge is left in the carpet to ensure that 'spots' do not re-appear, this can be a particular problem with wet-clean carpet methods.

Minimal amounts of moisture are used, so no over wetting and no lengthy drying time - carpets are back in use straightaway, clean, dry and looking their best.

Allergy Control Through Regular Carpet Cleaning
