The Matstone 6 in 1 is a masticating juicer and uses the single auger method to extract the juice, resulting in a 'living juice', full of nutrients and essential enzymes.  The low speed of the auger (80 RPM) reduces friction and heat which helps to produce a higher quality juice.

The new model (manufactured 2011) has stronger, redesigned juicing screens made from ultra tough GE Ultem and a higher quality brushless induction motor for quieter running and a longer life (as used in the £200+ single auger juicers).
